Two Minneapolis Public Schools Board members are making a new push to halt plans for closing more than a dozen schools. Minneapolis Schools Board members Sharon El-Amin and Greta Callahan co-authored the resolution that is set to be presented next week. It calls for no school closures for the 2027-2028 school year, while more studies are done and public input is gathered.
